整体地势从南往北渐高，地块整体南北高差约 20 米，后排房屋相比前排地势高，向阳而立。整个园区由十个微台地组成，层层递进，拾级而上，充满礼仪感，同时每一处房屋都日照充足。

建筑的外立面设计既有江南韵致，又有当代意味。外立面尽量隐去墙体与边框的桎梏，用大面积玻璃窗代替传统门窗，最大限度地景屋相融。月陇云岚景观设计以"四方山色，云水九溪"为主题，营造“一心、一环、双轴、七廊道"的景观布局，形成“一园九景，四时之序"的居住体验。

建筑坡顶采用大坡顶与小坡顶结合，屋面采用瓦片材质与金属钩边进行铺装，青瓦交叠，如远山淡墨。立面局部采用仿石铝板进行装点，在檐下空间与建筑装饰上，点缀了橡木灰金属材质，形成克制且奢华的冲突美。
